Good time to drive midwest roads?

justinmatthew Jun 11, 2004 06:46 PM

I live in Indiana and am on central time. I am going to drive country roads tonight looking for snakes. What is a good time to start driving? It has been hot and humid today with temps in high 80s and light rains early in morning and afternoon? I was thinking of leaving around 8pm shortly before dark. Would this time favor conditions such as this?

I am sorry that I dont know when to start to drive other than right before dusk when the sun is going down....then you can come back late too. But since you live in Indiana and I dont know if you already saw my post. I was wondering where you usually look for snakes. Like roads and parks and what not. I am thinking about the more northern part of Indiana but please tell me of any place you can. Thank you so much.
