I found a turtle that had just been hit by a car. She is barely alive and looks as if there is no way she will make it. I know it must tbe egg laying portion of the year because of the high number of females being hit on the interstate. She is one of 4 that I saw today (all T.s.elegans.). My question is is there a way that I might be able to save the eggs?
Her shell is cracked near the head and it hit one side of her face.
