I've given the second dosis of Baycox to my Spilotes pullatus, after 8 days from the first dosis (Toltrazuril 25 mg/kg) and after 4 days (I've injected the medicine in the dead mouse) my Spilotes is without strength and shows neurological damage.
I tried to idrate it with some vaporized water, as usual, but it aspired water, with the risk of drowning.
Now I give water via cloaca, with lacto-ferments.
A Vet from Germany has in the meanwhile written to me that she has lost one Chamaleon with Baycox and some lizards were very debilitated two weeks long after treatment.
Clazuril is less absorbed than Toltrazuril, and has a very rapid elimination. Clazuril is certainly safer, and Toltrazuril should be used with extra caution or avoided.
I will let you know if my Spilotes will recover or die.
I hope this help all us.
Ruggero
