Something is Wong and I'm not sure what!

Hi, I'm new to the message boards. I can definately tell something is wrong so I will take it to the vet, but I'm not sure what it may be. When I put this one into it's new home, it floated. The other two turtles sank to the bottom but this fella floated. What does that mean?

It can be gas in the intestinal tract, or a respritory infection. Did he float level, tilted to the side, or butt up?

He floats level, and sometimes he will tilt, but not enough to really say tilt on his side. I'd say level.

maybe your turtle is constipated with air, my slider likes to fart in the middle of the night, and I heard that a turtles digestive track can get clogged if they are fed something that turtles really shouldnt eat (like bacon, you know who you are) I dont know if its normal but my turtle once had diarhea .
