i used to give skike a fistfull of salad or more a day and he would clean the bowl, but now he will barely touch it. i changed from romane to escarole becasue i hear ramane is a bad staple but he won't try it and he won;t eat the romane either. hes eatin some crix but he won't eat salad. i have his tmeps right again but he still won't eat the salad........any ideas????

why don't you try mixing the escarole with the romaine? decrease the amount of lettuce daily until there's just escarole. also, try some mustard greens, turnip greens, or collard greens. or all three
also try some goodies in there like a little cantaloupe or strawberries just to get him going. i always give my beardies some fruit like twice a week along with some other lil veggies here and there (squash, green beans, bell pepper). it's a lot of work but i love seeing them hog it down. they start dancing around before i can even get the door open when they see the plate coming. it cracks me up.
