Rescued!!!

This little guy was dying in a pet store with two of his buddies. I know... I know... we are supposed to leave them there to die, so the pet store will stop carrying them... right? But I couldn't do it.

After I bought him, my purchase gave me the opportunity to tell the manager of the store what was wrong. Hopefully, he listened.

Meanwhile, I brought this little guy home. He was very thin and black all over. I put him in a tank I had already set up for a new baby, and the next morning, he was awake and moving around. I fed him.

That night I checked on him again, and voila! His black skin had shed, and he was a nice green, normal looking guy!

Now I am working to fatten him up... so he can eventually be someone's pet.

Here's another shot of him. This was taken through THREE aquarium walls, so the photo is not quite as good as the first...
