I was wondering what type of filtration you guys use in an aquaterrium? I just got banded water snake and about 35% of his cage is water. I don't necessarily need oxygen in the water as much as I need it not to go stagnant. Does anybody have any expierence with this?

I currently have a couple tanks with Fluval submersible filters (in tank.) If I had to do it again, and was willing to spend more money, I'd buy a small canister filter. It's a pain to clean the fluvals especially when you design your setup to hide them.
