I mean it aint bad.......love the new font type (BDJurassic would have been cooler and give it a Jurrasic Park kinda look).

Maybe a scaly backround? Like the Windows Wallpaper one?
So what's so different here? What are the new features? Just the little emoticons? Check out www.jeepboard.com and go to the jeep discussion forums. I love that look! And its cool how the replies are kept "inside" one's post, so we dont see endless columns of replies that take up space on the page!
And how about some cool emoticons? Like beer-drinking ones, singing ones, those that dance, transform, dive the finger, ye know... make it more eye-candy i guess.

Anyhow, when looking to make the switch, alot of the existing formats could not handle the sheer stregnth and force of us ks.com folks! Ya see we spend WAY to much time making WAY to many posts.

One thing you can do is head into user preferences. I personally like the grey tone topper.

I think you also asked why these. These particular forums offer a lot more on the back end. Now we can add a new forum daily, change pics, put up links, stuff like that much easier. I personally find the fact that I can go thru all messages in succession rather than reading a message and then having to hit back arrow constantly to get to the rest of the thread.

As for the font, i think they are looking at fonts right now.

I am on AOHell and on dialup (usually average 45k rather than higher). I find the speed to be not one bit slower than on the old forums. It's possible that your ISP and the connection could be the cause. Some ISPs do get a bit bogged down if they have a lot of their users on at the same time. Also the internet traffic itself in general for a particular area/region regardless of the ISP can sometimes bog down your ability to access web content. Last but not least, computer itself could be running a bit below normal performance. Usuaully when I start having problems, I find just simply cleaning out temp files, scan disk check and defragging the drive pretty much fixes things up again.

Now if I am at work on the ISDN or whatever it's called connection, I find things are often significantly slower than my dialup connections from at home when trying to access the internet! (of course I'm not supposed to be surfing around to begin with lol)

its just the change. I'm sure it will pick up soon.

We still have both forums going to so a lot of the forums here are slower because of that!

Seriously though, couldnt u fellas have waited til this thing was 100% complete in every detail?

They are complete, but there have been several comments on font. I have my display set up to overrule all other fonts so I really dont know what font is on boards.
