Glad to see it and if you both agree that is what it is then 2003 must have just been very unlucky (like 1 in 100 unlucky) not to have produced one.

Are there two of them in that pic? Maybe there will be tons of them this year to make up for last year (I know it doesn't really work that way).

It does not look anything like a platy. It is a lot darker, as platies have no black.
I think this is a neat looking morph, but I have to say the mohave looks prety sweet without the pastel blood.
It's great how you can breed one of them and produce both mohave and pastels, plus some awesome combinations, but I will have to see some pics of them once they mature and fade in to their adult colors.
It should be interesting.
