Decorative Plants

RoyC Jun 12, 2004 10:57 AM

What are some good decorative plants to put in the tank? I have sand at the bottom and I'm getting a bunch of river rocks from my cousin so they should hold the fake plants in place. I would prefer to put silk plants inside but i don't know if the turtle will eat it or not.

You might find that sand in your tank can get pretty messy. I just bought basic plants for my tank and weighed them down by glueing rocks to the bases. Turtle can still play with the plants without the plants floating up to the top. Any kind of plant should be fine because turtle will only nibble on it at first until it realizes its not food.
