Anyone here heard of or use Habistat Thermostats?

Benw66 Jun 12, 2004 11:21 AM

I found a proportional thermostat that is significantly cheaper than either the Helix or BigApple Herp models(around $60 plus shipping), it is made by a company called Eurorep in the UK. I was wondering if these are reliable or if anyone even knows anything about them? May not be quite such a deal for those of you in the states, but I am in Europe, so its looking pretty good for my refrigerator incubator that I plan on building. Thanks for any oppinions.

Ben

BTW you can look at the companies page here, if your interested:

I have an old Habistat Proportional Thermostat that I've been using for more than 10 years. I first used it with bulbs then went to radiant heat panels. It works fine; just like my Microclimate, Thermotronics, and Big Apple Herp models. Has a night drop, too.
