Just a question for all you breeders out there...

On average how long would you say it takes leopard gecko eggs to hatch. I have looked all over the net and no two answers are the same, it would be nice to hear from someone with experience!
I have two eggs that I am hoping will hatch VERY soon!!!!

Thank you!

Depends on the temp you are using to incubate. Lower temps = 80-83* will give you pretty much all female, med. temps = 84-86* will give about 50/50-- male/female, and higher temps = 87-89* will give you pretty much all males. Sometimes a high temp female will hatch out if you go to the upper temps. My eggs hatch anywhere from 40 days up to 70 days. Lower temps will take the longest. I have heard some people have had eggs hatch sooner & some much later.

I've had pretty much the same experience mine was about 50-60 days at 83 degree.

yeah, but mine were longer and lower. about 70 days give or take, at 78 degrees.

Hi-

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in here. The very first egg I ever hatched out took 86 days. It was incubated at 82 degrees. Go figure. I thought that egg would never hatch. The gecko was a nice healthy baby, just very late.
