Is it safe to use ultrasonic rodent repellers in the same room with tortoises? Tnx.

... i have one out in my hallway just in case they do (more for bugs, really, since my neighborhood is really woodsey). thankfully we find/see enough snakes that i think they must keep any rodents in check!
and the unltrasonic doodad is just around the corner from junior's tank. doesn't seem to bother him at all... no difference in his behavior if i unplug it to plug in the vacuum, or if i plug it back in again.
