for real, your spelling is that bad. but those are some rude comments. one thing i like about this forum over many others is the respect level. just curious..what forum? I am not offended by the way...sometimes confused...never offended : )

Persoanlly I do find consistantly poor spelling extremely annoying, and I do agree that in this limited, one dimensonal arena that it can affect how people percieve you.

That said, in this hobby experience counts for a lot and there are some very herp-savvy individuals who do not translate well into this media. As such I try not to judge a person or his/her knowledge in this field based on their linguistic abilities.

I'm annoyed by a lot of things in life and have to put up with most of them. People annoy me all the time. That's just life. I do agree that you can be perceived as dumb or illiterate with constant speling(lol) errors but just let your pics of your animals do the talking as to how good your herp keeping skills are.

If someone really wants to spell well on this forum, then one could very easily type what one wants to say on Microsoft Word, use the spell checker, and copy the text to the message box.

LOL! Even those of us who are typically good with spelling have typos too. Not only do I know a number of herpetoculturists who do not excel in this format, but do not translate well into society as a whole, lol. You know what, the latter part of that statement applies to me fairly well too.
