Quadricornis eggs not hatching

imrennwa Jun 19, 2003 09:19 AM

Hello all,

I have a clutch of 25 Quad eggs laid 12/1/02. They started sweating several days ago and shrinking as they would just prior to hatching. So far no hatching. Any ideas how long to continue to wait. Would any of you try to open the eggs to assist (none are even pipped at this point and not all have started sweating). Temp and humidity have remained constant.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

sometimes eggs can hatch weeks late.....i had anole eggs hatch about 3 months late so there is still hope.

also when you think they are about to hatch raise the humidity a little.

There is a recent article on eggs, laying, incubation etc. on www.chameleonnews.com that might give you some ideas.
