The last three beautiful Brooksi eggs were unpipped after all the others had hatched and been put up in their litle tubs. After two days I open each egg and this is what I found. One was badly deformed but full term and dead. #Two had two kinks in it's body and died shortly after opening. The third was alive and shrunk back upon peeking. I returned it to the incubator and left it alone. This morning it was stretched across the incubator but still attached to it's yolk sac. It promptly went backwards into it's little egg. But it seems that this little one will hatch afterall. Out of a clutch of 12 fertile eggs 10 hatched, 4 het albino, 6 albino and ALL girls except for one. The mother of this clutch seems to be ready to lay a second clutch soon. Maybe I'll get some boys this time. How much does temperature influence gender in Kingsnakes?
