KENTUCKY REPTILE EXPO!!!!!!!

jjtanderson Jun 13, 2004 10:22 AM

Ok I know that All your snake breeders out there have a few snakes they would like to thin out to make room for their new clutchs. If your near Ky The reptile expo is held in shelbyville. It is very cheap to set up a table and vedor sales are outrageous. You will sell a large percentage of your 'offerings" there. belive it or not their is a high demand for morphs in Kentucky. I very rarley see a BP morph at the show! Bring your eqiutment and supplies as well! They sell just as good as live merchindise! I know all of the Ball Pythons are hatching nows the time to get approved for a table. Check out.... WWW.KENTUCKYREPTILEEXPO.COM

Regular BPs usually run 25 or so at the show though I saw a reputable breeder trying to unload at 10$ each. There's a forum on the KY Expo website that you can inquire on.

That is the WORST show I have ever been to. Its supposed to be a captive bred only show... yeah right. The guy that runs the show was selling CH import balls last month.

Save your gas money and go to Columbus or even Indy.

the show is located in Shelbyville kentucky! Ball pythons range from 20-100$ depending on size, sex, ect. There are nice pythons there, we have had several vendors with mark and kim bell line specimens. The show may not be as big as most others BUT the people there are far more educated and more willing to "shoot the breeze" its like a family so to speak. Everyones not out to make a buck but to make a friend. To Ken you Speak of jason and for you information they were not CH and they were very awsome balls! he had 10 NON FEEDERS that were sold for 5$ each to a vet from the louisville zoo. All otheres were CB and had eaten 3 meals and gone through first sheds. Any one at they show you give you records on the snake, let you see them eat, and answere any questions you may have. Sorry you have had such a bad experience Ken. maybe next look for quality and not quanity. This is by far the friendliest show. ive been to indy and I would be lucky to get a 30 second convorsation in at vendors. Its worth the drive since your so close. Also late summer I may as well have some ball pythons produced by mark and kim for sell at the expo. There are carpet pythons by Will bird and kings, milks, and rats produced by Dwhite Good. Also corns by Kathy Love. Also a wide selection of lizards and amphibians by Bluegrass Exotics.

This show is small. That is why it needs more vendors. I really think this show is nice though. Every vendor is more interested in educating than making a buck.
