How long before the carrot kicks in?

When do juvie ct start to show? This pic was taken the day he hatched 5/16/04. Looks like his color will be nice and the ct should be wide spread.

it should take about 3 months or maybe less. it'll start to kick in when the gecko starts to get spots.

Thanks. Sounds like I have some time. Hopefully no spots. I like spots but the parents have none.

Nice Looking hatchling! I have one that is about 3 weeks old that had the same bright tangerine base color right out of the egg. Usually you will have a good idea of the carrot tail potential by the time they are 25 grams or so.
