I was wondering for anyone who has ever looked for snakes or live in Indiana or anything could tell me where some good places are to look for snakes in the northern part of Indiana?(splitting the state in hale vertically) Also somewhat close to Indianapolis...but doesnt have to be. I would like to know of some of the parks or just a place to pull over. I plan to take pictures and document my findings. Thank you.

I'm from Indy, but never gone herping. Just wanted to point you to the Hoosier Herp Society - if you haven't checked them out yet. They have group trips at times and you may be able to get some recommendations on that site. They have a message board too.
