It is really neat to see how fast they grow, and It can help people understand why such attention to detail is a MUST from the start. Look how much growth they can lose in such a short time (and how many times have you heard, "I don't have a UVB light but we are going to get one"
People don't realize how much every week counts.
BUT, When you have a small animal and a large one like that together it does not matter how many people are around to watch it, it's a big risk. The small dragon could bolt and the large one could have it before anything could be done about it.
Ask Joel R how quickly it happens, I think he lost a baby last year this way. Where is Joel anyway? I have been off the forums for awhile, does he still breed? Does he ever stop by?
I am glad everything went ok for you, but I do agree with littleherper's concern. It would happen in a flash and be very sad. I am not saying that the risk wasn't justified, that pic is definatly useful in showing growth rate, but maybe a "don't try this at home kids, these dragons are professionals" should be added to the bottom.
