Feeding a bd mice quistion ?

The pet store by me has a adult female and feeds it frozon fuzzy mice around once a month and a few of there others pinkys the same amout. Is this ok ? they seem happy to get to eat them and no health problems thats why im asking thx for any help papa_puff

They really do like them, but they're not good for them. Besides being really high in fat, there is also a risk of impaction. I can't say that I've never fed mine pinkies but I would be careful if you choose to and realize that there is really no benefit from them that can't be obtained by other means.

I feed my gravid females pinks all the time. They are high in protein and make for healthy clutches. As for feeding the males, Really no need except as a treat or to fatten them up out of brumation.
