2 beautiful babies born at 44 days this morning,,,,

Crystall Jun 19, 2003 10:13 AM

Checked the incubator this morning only to find one beautiful (rather plump) baby leo just chilling out in the corner of the container.hehe.
I took that baby out to examine her a bit, and what do I notice...another egg has been cut open on the side.
So I pick that egg up, and sure enough, a little babys head is peaking out.
But she wasnt moving, so I got worried and cut the rest of the egg open and pulled her out..thinking..ok..shes dead for sure.
When I get her out she SPRINGS to life and I thought I would drop her! Scared the HECK out of me, LOL!! Gonna be easy to find a name for this one!

But anyway, theyre both doing great, waiting on one more to hatch, the one that im hoping is a PA..but we'll see.
Now I get to search for some names!! YAY!

cool, nothing better. I had the same thing happen to me with a slit egg except he did jump out of my hand fell to the floor and made a splat sound,UHHH. Luckily he was not hurt at all I was so afraid he is now a nice big fat blizz.

That happened to me once, sort of. I checked the incubator and the baby was just laying there. My mom said " maybe its a still born". I had to tease her. If it hatched out of an eggs, how in the world could it be a still born! I thought it was dead. Even when I took the lid off and everything it didn't move. I poked it, it stayed still. Then I picked it up. The thing shot up my arm and crawled up to my shoulder. These little dudes are funny.
