Pastel Ball Growth

Hello,

I am wondering if Grazini Pastels unsually get brighter and more colorful as they grow? Or do they get duller and less attractive?

Every Pastel I have seen seems to loose it brighter colors as it ages. Both of the 2 that I keep have had thier brighter yellows fade to a tan or cream color.

They still look great even after they darken up a bit.

Yes, all Jungle Pastels do fade as they age, and some do even look like normals when all is said and done. However, Graziani pastels tend to hold their colour much better thatn other pastels in my opinion (I have 4) and they have faded a bit, but are still heads above any other line.

The Graziani line I got from Markus Jayne up here in Canada has only coloured up BETTER with age. With every shed, he gets more and more yellow. Not beige, not tan, not brown, but LEMON yellow.
