Hi,I recently purchased,3.3 Nic. Boa's C.B./Farmed neonate's from Ben Siegel, and they are Beautiful ! !And the array of color's is just unreal ! !My question is do the color's stay mostly the same or maybe enhance with age or do they fade? I dont have a Digital Camera yet or i would post some pic's. They are all real healthy,I've had them three week's now and they all have two meal's in them,one took F/T the rest live.I dont like feeding live but they would'nt touch F/T but im sure it wont take long to switch them over.

As far as the color....It depends. Here is my female that is about five years old.

They are all very Beautiful ! Robert your female is a Beauty, that's the color i'm talking about ! ! These neonate's show alot of that coloration with a lot of pink,nice circle back's one of the male's is a real nice sripe-tail.I cant wait to watch them as they grow !I'll be getting a Camera soon and i'll Post some pic's.I think the (Dwarf form's of B.C.I.)are really going to take off in popularity.There size/Beauty/ease of care all add's up to the perfect pet Boa "Mini" Boa's ! !

You have a very nice collection of Nic's ! !I havent handled mine that much except cleaning and water changes,On your evil one i got one out of the six who is pure evil,he is quik to rear back in an elavated s-shape and hiss,mouth open and quick to strike ,but i think he'll calm down once he learn's im no threat.I hope !

I have been waiting for mine to calm down for almost a year now. She still bites the *hit out of me everytime I get her out. But thats ok I still love her. She is just there to remind me that she is a snake, and snakes do bite!!!

I got a pair of nics from Ben too and I've had the same experience with feeding....2 meals each....only live...lol....its totally typical. I hear they're hard to switch over but I'll keep trying and hope that it works itself out soon enough. Either way, they're so tiny that its not a problem just yet. I can't wait for them to shed so I can see their colors develop more. Anyway, I just ordered another 1.1 from Ben that are due to arrive this week. Can't believe these snakes are so inexpensive considering how awesome they are.

There are still some great buy's in the snake market, and Nicaraguan Boa's are one of them.I had one out of six take F/T the rest hammered live, i dont think they'll be that hard to switch over,I hope not.Your Nic's are some real Beauty's and you got more on the way that's great ! !Ben sell's quality reptile's.I seen your web-site before,and you got quite the collection going on,i see your in to education that's really nice,(Reader's Are Leader's) ! !
