and not a flame war here....

I got a male and female beardie, i want to keep them toigether but the male is always biting the back of her neck and all that good stuff, and displaying dominance the way beardies do but sometimes he misses and gets more than the neck. well the cage they were in (seperated now) is 4x2x2 and the one she is in is 40x20x20, well what i was thinking is adding the little cage to the top of the big one and cutting an access hole in the bottom of the little one and the top of the big one and making an access ramp to the top one thus increasing over all floor space by about 60 gallons of 80 square inches. will this help out his dominance thing or what? or should i just keep them seperated and deal with the fact that he doesn't play well with others? well they have been seperated for about a week now and well he isnt really eating normal and he isnt as active as he usually is. i am at wits end should i just let them be or what? please help and dont let this post get buried cause i cant find anything on the net about it. i can find oner care sheet that says they need to be with others and i can find just as many that say to leave them alone. please help

Hey Ken, it's not just a dominance thing, it's also a mating ritual that you were seeing. Short answer is, if he can get to her, he will and you're going to see more of this and she will become gravid at the very least. I would leave them separate and they will get used to it eventually.
