ok, i have a ?. i just got a new boa. and i was wondering how long it would be before i can hold him. i hear 2 weeks. but he isnt in his perminet house yet. so i was wondering if i could hold him until he gets in his big house.

Hold him whenever you like...

Just be reasonable - don't take him out to the park for the day or don't pick him up for a little while, put him back and pick him up again soon after.

If the snake has been shipped. I leave him/her alone for awhile so they can calm down from the stress of being shipped. I let them in their cage and allow them to get used to the smells of the new surroundings. I have had some very aggressive snakes "out of the bag".. but turned out to be tame once they settled into their new environment.
