Amarali questions...................

survey33 Jun 13, 2004 09:34 PM

Hi, I have a good size collection of herps (Balls, carpet pythons, green tree pythons, honduran milk snakes).

With the exception of my Hog Island boa trio and some Brazilian rainbows, I have mostly stayed away from Boas due to their size and dark appearance of alot of the older ones I have seen.

However, I am really captivated by these awesome Brazilian/Bolivian Amarali but don't know much about them. Are they a morph/bloodline, subspecies, or geographic variety? Do they get as large as other types of boas (my largest cages are 4 foot neodeshas)? What are the major differences between the brazilian and Bolivians?

Also, Are there any recommedned breeders that will have these on hand at Daytona? Thanks for any help, Dave
