Broken horn on jackson

chico_dan85 Jun 13, 2004 09:52 PM

Hey my jackson broke his horn a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure it's from a fall in his cage do to his stubby hands, no thanks to the fantastic business I purchased him from. He's missing some claws so it's difficult sometimes for him to grip branches. Anyway, I held his horn together with a small strip of band-aid. I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will take for it to completely heal or if there is a better way to go about this. Thanks.

I don't know what the condition of the horn is now, whether you could safely unwrap the bandaid or not, but the liquid bandaids would do a better job. The basis of the liquid bandaids is super glue which could hold his horn together until it heals. They actually use superglue a lot for repairing turtle and tortoise shells. Hope this helps.
