Disclaimer: I know I could answer my question by googling or looking at lots of websites, in fact to some extent I have answered my question, but I'm neurotic and I must ask you, The Experts, so please don't look at it as me wasting your time, think of it as a compliment to your collective expertise.
I have 3 girl cresties (15, 14, 13 mos. respectively). One just laid her first pair of (obviously infertile) eggs. I'm curious about (a) how often this happens and (b) whether there is any harm to them from laying eggs (how prevalent is egg binding?) and if so is there anything (temperature manipulation?) to prevent it? I know it's natural, it's normal, etc. etc. but having never laid an egg myself, it seems like it could really take a lot out of a girl.
Thanks and sorry for the craziness.
(PS - can you tell me what "morphs" they are?)
Princess Buttercup (big sis)
Rags, the baby (molting)
Stormy (middle child but she's no Jan Brady)
