Well it took her all day long but she laid 22 beautiful eggs!! One is a bit smaller and more yellow, so it may be a slug, and a couple have a yellow "lump" on a white plump egg, but for the most part they all look good. Total egg weight is 215 grams!

And Hathore is a tired girl! I offered her a fuzzy mouse, but she doesn't look like she will take it. She just keeps pushing it away from her self with her coils (Kind of like she was doing when I took the eggs, I felt kind of bad taking them!) Hopefully she will eat tonight, but if not I'll just keep trying.

First year for both of them )

I'm new at all this but after my female laid her first clutch she was untouchable for like 5-7 days after laying. Getting those eggs away from her was a chore for sure. Anytime anything touched, moved or bothered her she started doing these jerking motions, quick, paced vibrations. If I tried to hold or touch her she would fully nudge me away. She accepted tons of food almost immediately and has been eating like a monster ever since.

She's back to normal now and I'm kind of expecting another clutch before the summer is out. I'm feeding her pretty much ever few days.

GOOD LUCK WITH THOSE EGGS, I had 4 slugs and only 1 "good" egg turn moldy on me so far (out of 19).

I candled my first eggs yesterday and I could see a few veins/arteries but thats about it.
