Big Cage

frdragons Jun 14, 2004 07:50 AM

I have juts finished building my frilleds cage and it is
4'long x 2'wide x 7'high and i wanted to know, is this big enough to buy a mate for my frilled and to house them both, what kind of problems would arise, and would i ever have to seperate the male and female for breeding purposes?

yes, that is big enough for a breeding pair. You will want the female to be at least 2 years old before putting with a male or you can run into problems with early breeding, stress, and egg binding. Typically they can be housed together after that without a problem, but some males are more aggressive and need to be separated--not likely, but possible.
