I have been having a hard time trying to breed these critters in the 30 gal garbage can i have them setup in, just seems no matter what i do they just wont breed but as soon as i give up on the idea and throw them in with my water monitor(WALLA!) they breed like crazy! I now have hundreds if not thousands of baby crix crawling around in there. Funny how things work!

I also have that 'problem'. Little crickets everywhere. I am guessing it is because I have better humidity and temps in the monitor cages. But yeah, lots and lots of em. Don't like it either. Have a trio of ackies that are maybe 3 months old and I don't need a ton of little crickets all over them. What I usually do to get rid of them is dry the place out a little. They seem to die off (disappear) after a few days of 50-60% humidity. I think the dryness jacks up their molting or something. Anyway, if somebody has a more solid way to get rid of baby crickets... Besides fogging the place with Black Knight...

It's happening to me as well. One day I saw hundreds of the little blighters there. I don't really bother with them, the bigger ones probably eat them, as there's been a significant reduction in their population recently. Some of them have even grown quite big. Well free food I say.

On another note, the recent batch of crickets I bought contained one specimen that was completely white. Has it finished moulting or is it some danger to my monitor?

And occaisionally in my beardies, as well on occaision with my Asian wolf spider. They seem to breed in cocopeat and high humidity/heat.
