Need feeding advice for adult veiled please!

jason1200 Jun 14, 2004 02:43 PM

I have a healthy adult male veiled who is a very finicky eater. The only thing he's eaten up to this point is cricks and superworms. I've tried silk worms, green giants and cockroaches all of which he wont eat. What else is there that i can try? What kind of greens do they like , i've tried different kinds of lettuce, but he wont touch it. He's not as plump as i would like him to be, i need to figure something out.

thanks!
jason

Why don't you just keep feeding him the crickets and superworms if that's what he'll eat?

Try wax worms, butter worms, house flies (not from outside). You can get most of this at herpfood.com. Also try bugs that you catch outside, pref. in places where they dont use pesitcides.
