No amphibian is necessarily easy to take care of. Now if you narrow it down to what kind of amphibian you are interested in; newt, frog, tree frog, aquatic frog, salamander, toad... then it would help in identifying the best "beginner" animal. good luck
I would like to have a tree frog. What would be the best beginner tree frog? Although I would like a tree frog, I am open to any other type of "beginner" amphibian. I already have a bearded dragon and an anole (both healthy) and I am interested in keeping an amphibian of some sort.
I would have to say that either white's tree frogs or green tree frogs are the best beginner tree frogs. i personally like the whites b/c they can get big( some up to 4 1/2 inches) and eat very well, they also can withstand some extent of mistakes a "new" tree frog owner may encounter. They can also live up to 15 years if cared for properly. remember when picking one out to make sure it is captive bred. if you have anymore questions please post them. good luck
pacman frogs are really cool and easy to care for
