How old does a male leo have to be before breeding him??

jack7777766 Jun 19, 2003 11:48 AM

I asked before about my female but since my male is younger, although Im sure I can get him to 50-60grams before 8 months I read about prolapse and that it hapens by breeding males too early so what is a safe age for a male leo to breed

Thanks
Jack

I would say 9 to 10 months of age mainly because the male won't breed till he is sexually mature enouph to do so. I don't think size really matters to much to the male he does his thing in like one minute and thats that.

Wheight usually matters more than size. leos sexually mature at around 30-35g. so just make sure he and his girls are nice and healthy and fat.

How do u size them. What would i need to do in order to check the size of what ever sex my leopard geckos are. Is there a way somebody can get on yahoo messanger so i can show them what mine looks like. I dont want to go and scan him. I mean it will be too bad and illtraining for him. So what would i do.
