What kind of tortoise was it?

My boyfriend and I went to a herp show the other day and saw someone walking off with the cutest little tortoise. It was really small, probably two inches across on the shell, and fairly light colored. Does anyone know what kind of tortoise this could have been?

Were you at the San Mateo IRBA showover the weekend? If you were, the light color tort you saw was a sulcata. I thought they were very pretty since sulcata are usually much darker than those at the show.
