Are Beardies at risk of cave-ins?

ETChipotle Jun 14, 2004 09:45 PM

With Collared Lizards, I had to make sure all basking rocks were fully supported underneath by bricks, because the lizards dig underneath them and eventually would likely cause a cave-in that would suffocate the lizard.

Is this a typical concern for beardies? Do they bury themselves under a rock to sleep?

Yes, this is a concern for beardies too, just as it is for frilled lizards. You should take the same precautions.
