First litter of corns born this year...They were born on May 17th, couple of questions...

When do I start to worry about my new babies not eating. I have yet to offer live pinkies, but am expecting to get some this weekend. Hopefully this will work. I was just wondering how long some of you "corn snake" veterans neonate corn snakes went without eating. I am very surprised at how good they all look. Out of 15 I only have 2 that have eaten, and one of them has eaten once (before he shed even) and the other has eaten three times. They all shed between two to three weeks ago. Thank you for any of your input and ideas. I have read about all the ways to get them to eat and am not asking for suggestions in that respect, just curious about everyones experiences.

Thank you
Bob

I've had some go 1 1/2 monthes before starting to eat. Most eat within 2-3 weeks though. Dont start to worry unless the dont eat for 1 1/2 mothes. SO if they haven't eatin by july, start worrying. lol. Neonates get a very big meal ( their yolk ) that has been designed by nature to last a while, in the wild babies dont get food set nfront of them, so this yolk lasts a while. But most will accept food within 2-3 weeks. Good Luck
