TEMPS ARE THEY TOO HIGH FOR RATSNAKE EGGS .....question

hello well I got my temps up in my incubator now they hold a steady beat between 82 and 85 degrees will this be okay for blakrat eggs or is this to hot its been a very long time since i have hatched eggs many years...thanks for any help

I'd keep them bt. 80 and 82*F. Ya have to be careful ya don't get too many males..LOL!

i was just worried they would not hatch or they would go bad at 85 degrees thats what my worry was...

I believe 85 is a little too high, especially if it is consistent. I think pushing the window sometimes causes problems, such as kinking for instance. Remember, ratsnakes experience a reduction in temps at night too, and speeding up development isn't likely to produce robust babies...imho.
