Still really small...

korina Jun 19, 2003 12:52 PM

This may be confusing...but here goes.
4 WD's - 2 younger, 2 older all still sub-adult. the two older ones are MUCH smaller and one of them is darker than the younger two. The younger two are 16"-18", the older two are about 12". I am positive about them being older too. We have had them for months, they are all in a 6x6x3 cage and seem to be happy. (They gang up on us to try and escape..)
Anyway, my question is, does anyone know why they are so much smaller?
Thanks

many times it has to do with how much food they're getting, uv light, and whether they're stressed out or not. i thought my basilisk was doing perfectly fine until one day i walked in and it was practally dead. so i took it out, gave it it's own uv light and made sure humidity and everything were perfect, got him some food and in less than 2 days he changed completely. by separating it it also helped his shedding problem. i tried putting it back in with the other one the other day for a day and it started looking weaker within 12 hours so i separated it again.
