who breeds type II....(more)

TenorGoddess Jun 15, 2004 11:20 AM

Greetings Everyone!

I'm looking into something....who breeds (if anyone does) the type II albino but in dwarf tiger form? I know Mike Wilbanks and Bob Clark have the type I albino dwarf tigers...but is there yet a type II albino dwarf tiger?

Hugs!

I know Bob Clark has just produced some type II albinos and Albino tigers. I dont think they are bred down to dwarfs yet, but im not at all for sure on this.

There are no albino dwarf tigers. There have only been a handful of dwarf tigers produced. Bob just produced his first clutch of Type II's if I'm not mistaken. No one has produced and dwarf type II's let alone dwarf tiger type II's.

Brian Sharp will have some offspring from his 10' female albino retic that was bred to a het tiger. They will be hatching out around the first half of July.

I know the Baldagos produced Type 2 albino tigers the same year as Jay produced his albino tigers, but i don't think anyones as far ahead as producing something like Type 2 dwarfs...

The type on dwarf albinos belong to Mike Wilbanks. Just look at his site and info on them as well as his pictures of them and the hets.

Now there are no SUPER dwarf albinos true...someday those will hopefully pop up in the wild, but until then, we are crossing "dwarfs" with normal morphs in hopes of getting smaller (dwarf) strains of morphs.

I was just wondering if there had been any of this type as a type II albino. Apparently not but man, both types of albinos are gorgeous! ;D

In 1996 Pete Kahl purchased the an Amelanistic Albino female and brough t her in country. Then in 1999 she bred to a tiger to lay eggs in 2000 then she went on breeding lone to Baldogo reptiles were Al bred her to a super. They went 30 for 30 on the hatching and a low number of females were produced. Bob Clark purchased some of these hets and then he bred them together this past winter and produced T- Amels which is what they should be called. His animals are direct descendants of Pete's animal and he is trying to rename them and not give Pete or Al the credit they deserve. His animals have not produced yet only the descendants of Petes animals have. AL produced the very first T- Amel Supers this year and one more tiger last year he produced a few T- amels and one T-amel tiger. Also a word on Type specifying T- Amelinism, Bob should not be calling this morph TYPE 2 because in balls and boas there is the same type of amel and it is classified as type one. He never type specified his animals before but now decides to causing confusion in the market place. Its a shame that Bob will not call them what they truly are needless to say here at JKB Reptiles I should be able to have some amel tigers and supers available next year.
