veins in my eggs. fertile??

gavinclews Jun 15, 2004 01:42 PM

I have had a good look at all of my eggs and held them up to the light. It looks like inside or on the shell there are little red veins in sort of like a circle and a red blob in the middle of them. this is not in the center of the egg but more closer to the shell.I asked yesturday and mystical told me to look for veins. What do you all think??

so if there are any veins on the egg anywhere then they are fertile. When i looked they did seem a little yellowish but i could see little red veins on them like on the shell but inside, just underneith. Its the first batch i have had and i just want to be certain. The shells look good as they are quite firm and white in colorand none of them are going bad or anything so i think they are good. are they???

the vein will remain if the egg stops developing or dies. So it's a one shot indicator.
