Empty Cage Syndrome

ETChipotle Jun 15, 2004 03:24 PM

Hmmmmm What's missing here?

I got fresh washed sand cooking under the lights, and I dropped the flourescents a bit. I'm measuring temperature with an LM34 hooked up to a battery and a bench DMM. It's slower and cheaper than a temp gun if you have the parts laying around already. Otherwise, don't be cheap like me, buy a temp gun!

The rocks and supporting bricks are not in yet. They still need to be washed, and I'll wash them and put them in when I am ready to test temperatures with more reasonable bulbs in the fixture.

It's 106 degrees on the floor with the fan on. I'm cooking the sand to get rid of the remaining water from washing the sand.

Maybe I should get a snake?
