jkins Jun 15, 2004 05:46 PM

I am about to purchase one for my male. I just wanted to get a general idea of what one should cost.
Thanks

I've seen them at shows for less, but I would expect to pay around $100 and up for a decent Zonata.

Depends on what ssp zonata you are talking about? The pyros are most common next would be agalma. The calif/washington spp would be more difficult to find as lone CB adult females.

You put that in the heading of the ad to get people who have a keen interest in zonata to look at it. Like if I was posting an ad for some pyros, and it read- "pyro aficionados look here", thats all it is. But I think $350 for that female is a good price. Also, you should take this into consideration. There are , or what they call axanthic agalma, but some say it isnt a genetic trait, but I was told by the guy who I believe was the originator of them-(matt smith..?) that you cant tell them apart at hatching time, but that they fade over age. So who knows, but it is a very nice looking snake.

Ahhh...that would explaine why I could not find this snake anywhere in the net. So basically it is just a description of the snake? I think that 350 shipped sounds fair also I just wanted to get a general idea of where the market was. I can't realy find prices anywhere cause not a lot of people breed them. Thanks a lot for all of your responses.
Thanks, josh
