I paid $85ea for my pair. At the time they were only yearlings. They are worth every penny in my eyes and I wouldn't sell them for that today as they are hugh and stunning.

Okeetees usually have a wide black band around their saddles. They are also usuually alot more colorful than the normal corns. I got my pair from a good friend that specifically breeds these beautiful aztec okees. Alot of different people breed them so you can find them just about anywhere. this is my male.

The name okeetee comes from the Okeetee hunt club in Jasper co. Soth caralina. The original okeetees where sold for a higher price then other wild type (w/t) corns.Over the years okeetee has pretty much become the label for any corns not homozygous for any mutated genes (normals).By puting the Okeetee label on normal corns breeders can sell thier normals for much more. There still are pure okeetees being captive bred, but they are probably the exception to the rule. Before I catch any heat from "okeetee" owners, I'm not trying to take anything away from the corns you own they all look great. I'm just trying to shed some light on what the name okeetee is actually refering to.
