I have noticed a small white worm looking thing attached or coming out of the head of one of my necturus. A few days ago I noticed that her eyes seemed to be clouded over with a white film with a small white dot in the center. Today I noticed the worm thing attached to her head elongateing and contracting from an 1/8 of an inch to about a 1/16 of an inch. Is this some sort of parasite that any of you have seen before and know how to treat? Could it be from the night crawlers I feed them? Any suggestions would be great.
