I am buying this dragon locally and dunno how much to pay for her
She is 7-8 months old and only 13 1/2 inches (kinda small for her age huh?). But she has really nice color and potentional.
Any comments are appreciated thanks.

Gorgeous animal!

I would say a breeder could get at least $250 for a well-started beardie with colors like that.

As for the size though, it is pretty small for that age. She looks healthy enough, but more like a healthy 3-4 month old, not a 7-8 month old. If something has stunted her growth you could probably get away with paying a lot less, because I think in that case she would not make a good breeder.

That's just my opinion.

he said he purchased her from a family that got her as a pet. She did have pinworms for a few weeks but. It has been cleared out and in the last month and a half she gained 90grams. Im hoping with some good feeding and housing i can get her back to her normal size or as close to it as i can.

That's great that she's gaining weight. She really looks like a stunner.

I do think you could get a lower price than I originally guessed, considering her history. From what I understand, beardies who don't start out well as juvies don't make good breeders later in life, and are sold as "pet quality" only. Whether or not you personally plan on breeding her, this would lower her overall value. I could be wrong, but this is how I normally have seen these things handled.

Yeah i know what you mean... I do plan on breeding her but if she doesn't hit the proper weight/length by the time mark then im just gonna keep her as a pet. The owner said she was really tame and nice.

She does look like a sweetheart.

Let us know if you end up getting her!
