I would say they probably do have a high degree of immunity. Most animals that prey on venomous snakes have immunity to the venom to one degree or another.
Yes, they are believed to have a high degree of immunity.
There is no way an indigo is going to be fast enough to grab a pitviper by the head all the time and not get bit.
I'd have to guess they get bit about 90% of the time while trying to consume a venomous snake.
