Dumerils Boas

How big to dumeril boas get i been told so meny size's...4 to 7 feet then i was told 9 feet .....and are thay mean snakes i meen i know all snake's can be un tame at times...

Dumeril's can get as large as 11 feet although
that would be a large specimen. As far as them
being tame, they definetly are as long as they are
handled.

Well, your original size was more accurate than the 9'. There have been dumerils known to reach 9 foot, but that is definitely the acception to the rule. As for the below post of 11', I don't think I've personally even heard of a Madagscan Ground Boa reaching this size, and they're the larger of the two ground boas found in Madagascar. The average you were given is basically as good a guess anyone can make. I personally have proven breeder adults(male and female) that are in the 4' range, and proven adults in the 7' range, and anywhere in between. As fas as temperment goes, they are generally very docile snakes, but like you stated....you could definitely find an aggressive one if you looked hard enough.
