Cool, but I like your invention with the humidifier

loko Jun 16, 2004 06:17 AM

oh.. thanks...
but i'm not using it anymore. i replaced it with a decent misting system.
i had the thing connected to a switch that measured the humidity and turned it on or off.
the problem was that the supersonic fog machine heated the water and therefore i had the feeling that things started living in the vacuum hose.

Oh I see.

By the way, I'm interesting about your switch circuitry, and what sort of component you are now using? Thanks

I just checked out your pages (all of them)! fun stuff! I love some of the whacky stuff you have in your Creative Corner! why is some in German and some in English? Do you live in Germany?

cool! glad you liked it!
i live in switzerland and therefore some parts on my homepage are german. on the other hand there are parts that are english like the creative corner which is linked to my activity on an english speaking forum. so i adapt to the people that are most likely to visit the pages.
the cham pages are kept in german language because i had the impression that there is more need of a decent german cham page because you guys (and others) cover the subject very well in english..

have you considered doing your cham page in english as well? so when someone gets there they can choose either page. I don't know if this is a simple thing - to simply translate the page as I have no web design experience. Anyway, just a thought

yup.. i've thought of that too.
and i'll do it if people visit the german page and show some interest - a sign for me that i'm doing a good job.
i just want to be sure it's worth the extra effort.
